Tomorrow, March 27, at 7p.m. I’ll be in Long Beach signing my autobiography Life on the Thin Blue Line for some of my oldest friends and neighbors. Growing up in Long Beach, it’s very exciting to look around and reflect back at my career and share some of my experiences.
I still have a major commitment to Long Beach and it’s success. As a property owner, I want to see it prosper. As a graduate of the school system, I wish successes on those who have come after me.
Long Beach has always been a great place, in spite of some of it’s setbacks in the past. It is unique in that it’s on the ocean with some of the most fabulous beaches around. It has the best boardwalk around.
Most of all, however, is the community and the people. It’s a small town only an hour from the greatest city in the country. Sporting events, culture, entertainment, and endless challenges are simply an hour away.
I’m very proud to have roots in Long Beach.
Come join me as I look back on my career and look ahead to seeing Long Beach continue to thrive.
